Welcome to The Virtual Information Center of the Georgia Area Council and State Alliance.

The Georgia Area Council and State Alliance are commissioned by Boys & Girls Clubs of America to provide specific support, training, and secure funding for Boys & Girls Clubs operating in Georgia.

In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them.

Boys & Girls Clubs offer that and more. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence.

Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow – all while having fun. They are truly The Positive Place For Kids. In 2011, Clubs operating in Georgia served over 90,000 youth who need us most, over 15,000 of these youth were teens.

The Georgia Alliance and Area Council are two independent groups working collectively to influence people and resources toward one common mission in Georgia.

To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

Our over 150 Clubhouses in Georgia offer:

  • A safe place to learn and grow...
  • Ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals...
  • Life-enhancing programs and character development experiences...
  • Hope and opportunity.
Thank you for joining us.  For more information on Boys & Girls Clubs in Georgia contact Nancy Frost, Director, Organizational Development, or visit the national website: Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
