About Robbie

Robbie worked as a heavy equipment operator and graduated from Greenbrier High School in 2011.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, snowboarding, golfing, wakeboarding, camp, or just being outdoors. Robbie especially loved spending time with his family and friends. 

Robbie was a young man that loved life and lived it to the fullest.  

While not a perfect person, Robbie had an incredible drive to be good at whatever he did!

After his untimely passing, his mother Paula, a long time part of the Boys & Girls Clubs, created this fund in his honor.

The Mackelburg Family wants to remind us all "to live life to the fullest & strive to make a difference along the way."



About the Scholarship Fund

The Mackelburg Scholarship fund will be used to support a Boys & Girls Club member attending a college or vocational school of their choice.

Recipients will be selected through the Georgia Youth of the Year process and will be reviewed by a committee for selection.
