  • Where do I sign up?

    You can sign up at https://www.bgcga.net/ga-license-plates or email your name, county and email to GeorgiaAlliance@bgca.org

  • What is the cost to renew this specialty license plate annually?

    $55.00 plus any applicable Ad-Valorem tax.

  • What if I sign up after the first 1,000 license plates?

    The total cost with manufacturing fee would be $80.00 plus any Ad-Valorem tax if applicable. That cost includes: Manufacturing Fee: $25.00  Annual Registration Fee: $20.00  Annual Special Tag Fee: $35.00 Ad-Valorem Tax Required: Yes, if applicable

  • Where does the funding go once a new plate is purchased?

    Of the $80 fees collected for the issuance of these tags, the fees shall be distributed as follows: $20 Annual License Reg. Fee $1 to the County Tag Agent $10 to Sponsoring Organization $49 to State of Georgia General Treasury

  • Is the county name decal required?

    Yes

  • How will Boys & Girls Clubs use the funding?

    Funds will be used to offset costs for the GA Youth of the Year event, and to provide scholarships to GA Boys & Girls Clubs Youth of the Year winners.

  • When will I receive a plate?

    Once the sponsoring organization has 1,000 names, the list will be submitted to the GA Department of Revenue. Those who have signed up will then receive a waiver that they can take to their local county tag office.
